M&M Medical & Surgical Clinic moves to a new location....
Dr. P.J. Marshio, of M&M Medical and Surgical Clinic, recently announced the expansion of his services to include a wide range of medical-grade, non-invasive skin treatments. Coupled with the expanded services is the recent expansion of the clinic to provide these services.
“We have more space,” said Dr. Marshio’s wife and partner Beverly
Marshio. “We’ve practically doubled our space.“ M&M Medical and
Surgical Clinic is now located at Live Oak Plaza at 2851 Hwy. 35 N. in
Rockport. The new location includes three examination rooms, a
Microdermabrasion room, a room for mineral and skin healthy make up and
a consultation room.
The couple has worked together since 2000 when they met at North Bay
Hospital in Aransas Pass. They have both been training for more than a
year for new services they offer at their new location. Their training
includes Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technologies and related
treatment protocols offered at their clinic.
“For many years I have been a thoracic and general surgeon,” said Dr.
Marshio. “I felt I could also do procedures that could make people feel
better about themselves.” He added, “This is not all about women.
Patients for this kind of service are 25 to 30 percent
men.”
New services include the latest technology to treat wrinkles, freckles,
rosacea, age spots, unwanted hair, cellulite and other patient
concerns. To address these and many other conditions, the clinic offers
exfoliation treatments such as medical Microdermabrasion for age spots,
Botox® for frown lines, Restylane® for wrinkles and lip enhancement, and Photo
Rejuvenation to enhance the condition of the skin.
“Our new laser machine can do so much for people including hair
removal, age spot removal and vein treatment,” said Dr. Marshio. He
continued, “We are pleased to be able to provide area residents with a
new and affordable line of medical-grade treatments tailored to each
individuals skin condition, age and personal needs.”
A general surgeon in the Coastal Bend since 1983, Dr. Marshio added,
“Our combined staff experience of nearly 70 years enables us to work
with the latest non-surgical procedures that produce effective and
lasting results to enhance our patients’ appearance, well-being and
quality of life.” Minor surgeries are also performed in the clinic.
Beverly added, “As with any medical procedure, our work is done with
discretion and confidentiality.”
